CPM announced Plans for Fall IPMW Workshop

The College of Performance Management (CPM) has announced that the IPMW Workshop will be presented as a virtual event this Fall. Detailed information will be shared at the CPM website COVID-19 news & updates page.

CPM previously cancelled EVM World 2020 scheduled for 9 – 11 June 2020. Plans are to resume EVM World next year.

EVM World will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on June 9-11.

This year’s theme is “Working Faster Through the Power of Performance Management.” The focus will be on reducing inefficiencies utilizing project performance techniques and project controls, including integrated project performance management, cost controls, agile program management and earned value management (EVM).

Earned Value Management Practitioners’ Forum

Earned Value Management Practitioners’ Forum Coming in October

The 9th Annual Earned Value Management Practitioners’ Forum will be held October 9-10 at the UVA Darden Conference Center in Arlington, Virginia.

This conference is for EVM application users to share best practices and help others become more effective in their use of EVM tools, analysis and reporting.

Planned topics are:

  • EVM for enterprise solutions and system integration
  • EVM for complex systems and manufacturing
  • EVM for the new project control analyst

Empower Users’ Group Workshop, Aug 28-29

Encore Analytics is presenting an Empower Users’ Group (EUG) Workshop, Aug 28 & 29 in Miramar, Florida.

Speakers from government organizations and industry will talk about the use of Empower for program analytics, data-driven audit support, VAR collection, and Corrective Action Tracking. There will also be a number of technical sessions hosted by the Encore Analytics staff to cover advanced topics.

There will be an open feedback session with customers to prioritize future software enhancements. Attendees will have the opportunity to influence the future direction of the software during this session.
